The Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering Pathanapuram (PEC), in association with the Institution of Engineers (India), Kollam Local Centre, organized the Engineers’ Day Celebration 2026 on 16th September 2026 at the Seminar Hall, Academic Block, College of Engineering Pathanapuram. The programme was conducted from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM to commemorate Engineers’ Day and to highlight the role of engineers in sustainable development, technological advancement, and nation building.The programme was organized with the objective of creating awareness among students about the responsibilities and opportunities associated with the engineering profession. It also provided a platform for students to interact with experienced professionals, gain exposure to contemporary engineering challenges, and understand the importance of innovation, sustainability, and technological self-reliance.
